Complete the purchase by confirming the order

Once you have confirmed your order you will receive a confirmation email acknowledging that we have received your order. This is not an acceptance of your order and no binding contract has been agreed between AlphapetOnline and you as the purchaser until your goods have been despatched.

Special Offers/Promotional Codes

Please make sure that you enter any promotional or special offer codes prior to confirming your order. Unfortunately, we are unable to apply these codes retrospectively.

Order Fulfilment

Your order placement is accepted by us with our email confirming the despatch of goods to you. Goods not included in the email confirmation of goods despatched do not constitute a portion of the order except where this represents a Part Order. All prices are subject to change.

Part Orders

In instances where goods are despatched in multiple deliveries, i.e where the lead-times on fulfilment differ, the goods form a Part Order. If an order is being delivered in multiple parts it will be noted on your despatch confirmation order form.

Stock Availability

All goods and services are subject to availability. If the goods that you ordered are not available from our stock we will notify you by email within 7 days and you will be given the option to wait until the goods are in-stock, offered a comparable product, or you may cancel your order in accordance with our Order Cancellation and Returns Policy.

We deliver throughout Mainland UK and the Scottish Highlands & Islands. All deliveries will require a signature. For further information about delivery terms and charges please visit our Shipping and Returns page.

As soon as we have delivered the goods to the chosen delivery address, or to a nominated person, you assume responsibility for the goods. Any loss or damage to the goods occurring after the receipt of the goods is at your own risk. Any damage that has occurred during transit, shortage of goods or incorrect goods must be reported immediately to returns@alphapetonline.co.uk. For more information please see our Shipping and Returns page.

Product Descriptions

The manufacturers provide us with product descriptions and we accept no responsibility for the accuracy of the images, specifications or descriptions of goods. All images and descriptions are for the sole purpose of providing you an approximation of the goods. Colours may vary slightly due to the limitations of computer technology. The full-specification for a product may be obtained from the manufacturer.

Typographical Errors

We seek to ensure that our prices on the website are accurate, however typographical errors may occur. In the instance where a product is listed with an incorrect price due to a typographical error or there is an error in pricing from our suppliers, taxes or duty changes, we reserve the right to refuse or cancel any orders listed at the incorrect price whether or not the order has been confirmed. If we discover an error in the price of the goods that you have ordered from us we will notify you as soon as possible and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or of cancelling it. If we are unable to contact you then we will treat the order as cancelled and issue a full-refund back to the original source of the payment.

Prices shown do not include VAT as AlphapetOnline are not VAT registered. Delivery charges are not included in the price and are calculated at the checkout unless specified otherwise. For more information on our delivery charges please visit our Shipping and Returns page.

We reserve the right to change prices and specifications on any item on AlphapetOnline.co.uk at our discretion and to withdraw items from sale at any time. We will not be responsible or liable to you or to anyone else as a result of the withdrawal of sale of any items at any time. Orders that have been accepted and despatched will not be affected by the above.

Making A Payment

Payment on the website can be made by any major credit/debit card. You confirm that the credit/debit card that is being used for the purchase of goods is yours. All credit/debit cardholders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If your card issuer refuses to authorise payment, we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery and we are not obliged to inform you of the refusal. Authority for payment must be given at the time of order. Our liability to you in relation to any order shall not exceed the total price charged for the relevant items.

Price Designations

RRP refers to the Recommended Retail Price for a product.

Price refers to the price that we offer the goods at unless they are on offer.

Offer refers to a product that is on special offer for a limited period of time.

Offer Prices

Prices that are reduced for 'offer' for sales and promotions are only valid for the specified period or for as long as they are displayed as on Special Offer on the website. The term 'normal price' is used to describe the retail-selling price of a product.

Returns & Cancellations

For more information on Returns please read our Returns Policy.

Credit/Debit Card Security

Credit/debit card details are encrypted by either PayPal or Nochex to minimize the possibility of unauthorized usage or disclosure. We only accept orders from web browsers that permit communication through Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology, for example, 3.0 version or higher of Explorer and versions 3.02 or higher of Netscape.

These standards mean that you cannot place an order through an unsecured connection. Your complete credit card number is transferred to this secure machine across a proprietary one-way interface. This computer is not accessible by network or modem and the number is not stored anywhere else.

At times a notice may appear on your screen alerting you that you are moving from a secure server to one that is not secure. The secure part of the website is where your credit card and personal details are taken and is to protect your data.

Age of Consent

When placing an order you are declaring that you are the appropriate legal age to purchase the item and that the person accepting delivery of your order is aged 18 or over. If it is found that you are not legally entitled to order certain goods, we reserve the right to terminate all account facilities immediately, without notice, and we will not be obliged to complete the order.

Customer Responsibility

On delivery of your order please inspect the goods for damage and notify returns@alphapetonline.co.uk within 2 days of delivery if any damage/fault is apparent.
